We offer systems from a single door and up to 500 users to over 10,000 doors and 10,000 users. Smaller systems are called stand alone and are only efficient for one door and under 50 users. The reason these systems are called stand alone is because these systems don't communicate to other door panels in multiple door systems. Therefore programming changes would have to be made at each door individually. That makes for a lot of work and confusion. When you have more than 50 users or more than one door then we recommend a non stand alone system. This design offers one point of total system control. The information you enter at a door panel or a computer is then sent to all other door panels through the connecting wiring or via modems. A computer greatly simplifies programming and managing the data base of access users. Check out the below web site for more information.
