Sievers Company Online Privacy Policy Statement                                          < BACK

The Sievers Company Privacy Policy has been developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the finest quality products and services with the highest level of security and integrity in dealing with our customers and partners. The Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site. This statement will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and our customers' needs.

Sievers Company may, from time to time, modify this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technological and other developments. In that event the changes will appear on this page.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our Web site you may provide us with two types of information:

1. Non-personal statistical information collected on an aggregate basis.

This is anonymous information on subjects such as: how many visitors come to our Web site, how they navigate through the site, which browsers they use to visit the site, etc.

2. Personal information that you knowingly supply to us.

When you subscribe to our mailing list, pay an invoice by credit card, or sign-up for automatic payments, you may be required to provide personal information in order for us to communicate with you or obtain authorization to process financial transactions and credit services.  This information is called "personally identifiable information".  Examples are: name, address, telephone number,  credit card number, etc.

It is common practice for businesses to collect "personally identifiable information" to conduct business with customers.  Sievers has collected this information in the past through the mail and over the telephone in order to provide information and services to our customers.  The emergence and popularity of the Internet provides Sievers with yet another way to communicate with you and meet your needs.

We will not share your personal information.

Sievers will not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party absent authorization from you. We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

E-mail Information.

E-mail gives Sievers another convenient avenue to communicate with its customers.  We hope to periodically tell you about new products and services that would benefit you.  Sievers will not, however, send you e-mails if you do not wish to receive them.  If at anytime you would like to remove yourself from Sievers' e-mail list, you can do so by typing "Remove" in the subject line of a return e-mail to Sievers.

Security.

When you send credit card or automatic payment information to us our Web site, it is secured by the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.  SSL encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our Web site.

Linked Web sites.

The Sievers Company site contains links to other Web sites. Please be aware that these other sites may have privacy policies that differ from Sievers'.  Sievers is in no way responsible for either the content that appears on linked sites, or your privacy once you have linked to other sites.

Questions and comments? Sievers Company Privacy Policy has been developed out of respect for the privacy preferences and choices of our customers and trading partners. We have established procedures to ensure that every reasonable effort is made to address your concerns. If you have any questions concerning this privacy statement, the practices of this site, or your dealings with this site, please contact us.
